We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." We had a hard time installing the lock, is not tight, is not very secure. Other than that it looks and works as a regular mailbox. I would not like to have to use the locked bottom very often.

So far I'm very happy with this mailbox. Very easy to install and looks very good. Maybe next model could hold more mail.Would not mind having the same design with larger holding container for longer out of town trips.Finally kids can't get to my mail.My friends already want one like it:) after they saw it. I cut a hole in the plastic piece that covers the receptacle. I want the receptacle to always be open but without that plastic piece I'm afraid people could reach their arm in there and take things. So I leave the plastic piece in but cut a large slit in it so people can drop envelopes inside. Otherwise very happy with the product.

I would design the rear rear top door to be a little more secure. When the mail is delievered the the packages could push the back door open if enough force is applied. Other than that you can't expect more from a mailbox.

pretty easy to install. The hardest part was preparing the area where I wanted to install it.
Some of the parts were a little more difficult to put together than I expected, but all-in-all there were no real problems. The only parts I had to really put together were the lock and the roof. Digging the hole for the post to attach the mailbox to was most of the labor; next was bolting the mailbox to the post. Other than that, setup and installation were fairly easy.

The wind and rain has blown the doors open and the mail box itself is small. The mail lady isn't able to put small packages in the mailbox anymore. but it does hold a lot of mail if you are out of town. Good product though.
