I had read in reviews that it was hard to clean up, but I haven't found that at all...and I don't even put foil on the drip pans as suggested by others. We are vegetarians (but eat fish). Last night we did salmon, tonight I smoked an egg plant.

actually works well, but I place unit in oven after it comes up to temp. set oven at 200 and finish off there.

Providing a tasty smoke flavor to any meal has never been easier. I perfectly smoke veggie buffalo wings, hotdogs, burgers, veggie chicken breast, veggie steaks, every vegeterian meat I serve as an entree for gatherings or home is smokie.
I smoke several days a week now that I have this conveniant stove top smoker. I smoke veggie meats for family, friends, as well as for potlucks without the hassle of using a charcoal grill.
It is soooooo easy to use, and inexpensive, with quick clean-up as well. Everyone always think I worked extremely hARD to please them with such a powerful flavor!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The thermometer provided with the smoker/roaster, essential to ensure proper cooking temperatures, does not fit. The probe is too big to fit in the hole in the lid of the unit. Disappointing quality control for an otherwise great product.

The indoor smoker is just what I need being in the rainy Pacific Northwest!! Still working out recipes. Food cooks quickly and did over do some pork chops, but that was my fault. All of the meats came out well smoked and tasty!!
